I wanted to test xTom Sydney 9929, so I migrated BandwagonHost THE PLAN there. This should also help estimate how GreenCloud may perform in a few days

📍 Return Routes
Return for all three Chinese networks goes via Hong Kong 10099->9929

3. Outbound Routes (itdog.cn)
Only China Unicom is optimized outbound
On the domestic segment, Unicom uses 9929, while Telecom and Mobile use backbone routes
| China Telecom | China Unicom | China Mobile |

On the overseas segment, Telecom outbound passes Japan NTT then GSL, Unicom uses Hong Kong 10099, and Mobile uses Hong Kong Lumen->GSL

10. Summary
Unicom is happy here; after all, this is its own 9929 with premium routing both ways. It is a pity Telecom CTG was pulled. Cross-network performance for Telecom and Mobile depends heavily on region, and South China may be better. Because Telecom outbound passes through Japan NTT, packet loss increases, so the Telecom experience may not be great. Since both use xTom upstream, GreenCloud may be similar to BandwagonHost Sydney, though it is hard to say whether GreenCloud’s 9929 will also be pulled.
If xTom AU is used as an exit node rather than a China route (although the reviewed IP is very dirty), it is still quite easy to pull from; Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore speeds and latency are all good.
