I had not tried three-network CMI before, so I picked up three discounted VPS plans during the 618 sale and ran some tests. yct007

iPerf3 TCPsingle-threadspeed test

During evening peak, single-thread speeds back to China do not seem very different. FX, as always, has a huge international bandwidth pipe. RFC had higher retransmissions among the three, such as in international speed tests.

🗒️ Summary

The differences among the three are small. If you need this route type, keeping any one of them should be fine. Perhaps because it has more users, RFC was slightly worse on retransmissions and packet loss in this test. yct006

🔗 About the Tests

All machines tested in this article were purchased at my own expense; TCP tuning was limited to enabling BBR, with all other parameters left at defaults; results may be time-sensitive.; ISIFISIF’s IPv6 tests can be viewed from the links below.
